Charity For Children

There is nothing more gratifying then charity for children. Helping to improve the lives of other people less fortunate then yourself has to rack up a stack of Karma points and put you into the good books with the big fella up stairs.

I am passionate about Thailand and while the country and it’s people are warm, friendly and loving the same can not be said about rural education standards. In the western world even at poorer schools they still have resources.

I’m talking about basics such as pens, paper and workbenches. In the rural northern regions of Thailand referred to as Issan, this is sadly not the case. While there are a few private tutoring colleges and paid education services this is not the norm for everyday children.

So a few years ago I decided to do something to change this. When most people think of schooling and education they start off helping in a capitol city such as Bangkok or Pattya, but they either don’t know about the rural northern areas or they don’t care. The harsh reality is that these regions have less appeal and willing westerners with their TEFAL education certificates don’t really want to live and work in poorer areas, which is a real shame.

If you visit my site that I made with a few collogues you can read about the things that we like to do to help out. Just knowing that while we are only making a small difference by the things we are doing, to these wonderful people a desk, pens and paper mean a whole world of difference and joy.
